Why to stick to your own Ethics and Values, not to that of others

You should always follow the ethics which we are taught and never be affected by the behavior of others. Never treat others by looking at their response towards you, rather follow your own pattern of ethics and values so that others may get impressed by your pattern and be tilted towards the good ethics and values you display. An example of this is as below: An old man was walking around in a forest to collect some wood for his kitchen burner. Suddenly he heard a hue and cry of a cat. He ran towards that place from which he heard that sound. He saw a cat trapped in a deep hole from which she was unable to escape. The old man decided to help the cat to get out of that hole. He put his hand in the hole to catch the cat to take it out, but the cat scratched the old man’s hand with his paws as she got afraid of the old man.   The old man was screaming because of pain. His hand was bleeding but he didn’t give up and decided to help the cat at any cost. He again put his hand in the hole ...

Why the World is Considered to be Selfish

Once upon a time, there was an old man living in a village far away from the city. He was having many hens and he always treated those hens very well by providing them a fulsome food. One of his hens was a very special hen as she was a golden hen who used to lay a golden egg on a daily basis. The old man was very kind and all the hens lived very happily under his control of that old man. One day that golden hen told the old man that I am sick of this routine of laying a golden egg daily. I want freedom from this place and want to go anywhere else. She was of the opinion that life in a city is much easier than in a village as the people of the city area are always more hospitable and caring. An old man advises the hen that this world is very selfish and humans are very greedy. They never facilitate anyone without any yield out of him/her. You cannot live with freedom and will not be able to enjoy your life as you want. This is the rule of this world that people treat you well if...

How Dress Speaks of One's Personality

Dress is having a great impact on the personality of a person and also decides how others will behave with him by getting an impression about him. People behave as if they get inspired by a person and his dressing plays the main role in this. One great example is as below. Shiekh Saadi was a great and well-known poet of Iran. He was very popular because of his poetry. One day he was going to the Court of King and on his way to the court, he had to stay in a house of a nobleman. He was simply dressed and was not recognized by the nobleman. The nobleman and his servant behaved with Shiekh Saadi in a very casual way, as they considered Saadi to be a poor man wearing a low-cost/ordinary dress. They didn’t show any kind of hospitality that Shiekh Saadi actually deserved Shiekh Saadi was very sad about their behavior. He went to the King’s Court. On his way back, Saadi had to again stay in the same house in which he previously stayed. Now, he wore elegant clothes. The nobleman and ...

Why Intelligence is Superior to the Physical Strength

Once upon a time, in a forest, there was a lion that was very cruel, powerful, and ferocious. All the forest animals were afraid of him as he used to kill the animals of the forest to feed himself. Even the lion used to kill animals more than his demand to satisfy his lust for hunger. Resultantly, all the animals remained unhappy and insecure while living in the forest. They were afraid that by such actions of a lion, one day there will be no animals left in the forest and it will be clear of all the animals except the lion. So all the animals decided to meet the lion and give him some alternate options so that they may feel secure and there can be some chances of their survival. One day, all the animals of the forest gathered under a big tree and they invited the Lion to attend the meeting. One of the animals who acted as a representative of the animals praised the lion by saying to him,” Your Majesty, it is a great honor for us that you are our king, and accepting our invi...

Why we should't trust anyone blindly

Once upon a time, there were two swindlers who were always in search of new targets for them to cheat. Once they heard about an Emperor who always used to spend a lot of money on lavish clothing, and he always did so at State expense. The swindlers decided to deceive the Emperor. So they met the Emperor through his ministers and gave him the offer to weave a magic cloth. On inquiry of Emperor, the swindler told him that they can weave a suit which is visible to only wise persons. No fool can see this cloth. Emperor was very much surprised and he told his ministers to give a lot of money to the weavers to make such cloth for him. The Emperor's order was obeyed and the weavers started their job. The weavers took a few days to pose that they are very busy in their job but in fact, they were doing nothing. Many times the emperor visited the looms but he couldn’t see the cloth and the looms were empty but he always pretended otherwise to avoid being thought to be a fool. Finally, the da...

Don't Leave Today's Work on Tomorrow

"Don,t leave today's work on tomorrow". if we don't follow this proverb then there will be work piling upon us and it will become a burden, not easy to be disposed of. We can understand it by an example given in the succeeding paragraph.  Once upon a time, there were a number of ants walking through the forest. They were roaming around in search of food. Ants are always known for their hard work and commitment. The ants were working hard according to their nature. Suddenly, they heard a disturbing sound of a song, such a sound was of a grasshopper. The ants searched for the grasshopper and at last, found him hidden under a plant's leaves. One of the ants asked the grasshopper, "why you are wasting your time in singing s song only, rather you should work hard for a collection of food for winter as winter is about to set in". The grasshopper replied, "I will collect food in winters, you don't worry. Let me sing a song now and enjoy my life"....
