It is said that “Hard work without genius is more than genius without hard work”. Only genius will be useless if there is no hard work as hard work is always key to success in any task. But if genius combines with hard work, then it will be matchless. There will be nothing to beat that person. We can take a well-known story for this
There
was a crow who was very thirsty, he couldn’t find water anywhere. He wandered around
in search of water, but he could not find it. He was tired and sat on the wall
of a house. He saw a pitcher placed in the house. The crow flew and sat at the
edge of the pitcher. He was very happy as
there was water in the pitcher, but unfortunately, the water level was very low
and the crow was unable to reach it to drink it. The crow tried its level best
but all in vain.
At
last, the crow used its intelligence and got a solution to raise the water level
for its easy access to drink. The crow saw some pebbles near that pitcher and started
picking these pebbles to put in the pitcher. After the continuous effort of the crow, the water level was raised and it became easy for the crow to drink it. Now the
thirsty crow drank water to its heart’s content by using its intelligence along
with its hard work. If the crow had used its intelligence only and didn’t do
any hard work, then the crow wouldn’t achieve its desired results.
So
we can say that hard work along with intelligence is very important to gain the
desired results, otherwise, it will be impossible to succeed in this world.
Moral:
Hard work along with genius is key to success.
