Why Human is Ignorant of Basic Ethics

Humans are living creatures that are not only made of flesh and blood but have some feelings and thoughts, and are to follow certain rules and ethics. But they are running behind wealth, and fame and exhibit a materialistic approach, violating the basics, for which they are in this world. Loyalty is one of these basic values which humans are to adopt. If humans look at the loyalty and sincerity of an animal, like a dog, they will get ashamed of themselves. Such an example is given in the following paragraphs.

Once upon there was a family of Bedouin, who were having a herd of sheep. This family used to travel far away in search of food for their sheep, keeping in view the weather changes. During winter this family always preferred to move to the plain and in summer towards the hilly areas. This family had a dog of a good breed which always moved with the herd of sheep for security purposes. This dog had a special affiliation with the Bedouin family and the sheep.

Why Human is Ignorant of Basic Ethics

It was winter season when this family was settled in a village of plain fields. This family had spent about three months in that village. Summer was about to set in and the family was ready for their move toward the hilly area. They had spent many days in preparation for their movement. On the final day, when the family was ready to start their journey with the sheep herd, the dog was not around. The family made a search for the dog but they failed to find it. Desperately the family had to start their journey with an expectation that the dog will follow them after some time when it will get back to this place.

But the dog had gone anywhere for a long duration and when it came back to its home, it was too late. The dog couldn’t get any clue about the Bedouin family and it sat at the place left by its owner waiting for his revisit, but it didn’t happen. Now the villagers analyzed the situation and tried to help the dog by putting some food in front of it. They also tried to take the dog to their home for its better care but all in vain. The dog didn’t even take the food, put by the villages in front of it. Surprise for everyone, the dog kept on waiting for its owner for some days, at the same place, without taking any food. After some days the dog died at the same place leaving the entire villager in grief and sorrow.

This was the loyalty of an animal, which taught a lesson to humans. Whether humans can show such loyalty and sincerity to their creator, Allah Almighty, Who has all the amenities in this world for him. Being the best creature in this world, such qualities must be in humans, which animals even like dog owns.

Why human is self-centered

It is mentioned once that there were three friends who were very fond of each other. People used to give examples of their friendship. All three friends grew up together studied in the same school and now used to do business together. They were very close friends. Their business was going very well. They were very hard working. But one day it happened and they started losing business. Their night sleep is forbidden. He tried hard to manage the business but gradually, the business came to a standstill. They packed their things and left for the city. Even on the way, there was a forest. The sun was setting and it was going to be night. The three of them thought why not stay here tonight. Why Happiness is Considered the State of Mind

Happiness and satisfaction are the state of mind. It can never be assumed that a person is happy due to too much money or having plenty of facilities. We can never say that a person is happy after being well settled. Rather we generally see poor people more satisfied than the rich. Then what is the thing for the poor to retain him happy, this is inner satisfaction. In other words we can say, the state of mind which makes him happy and contented. We take an example of such condition. Ashfaq Ahmad, who was a very known writer of Pakistan says that he has served for several years in Radio Pakistan and got posted at various locations. He also remained posted at Gilgit Radio Station. It was a small office but in a beautiful place. There a person named Ghulab, who was a low paid employee at Gilgit Radio Station and was doing duty as a office boy. Ghulab always remained unhappy and worried by his appearance. We never saw him happy and contented. We thought him unhappy because of his financial...

Why Hard work is Always Better than Begging

Hard work is the key to success. nothing in this world is impossible for a person who targets to achieve with commitment and hard work. If we give a fried fish to a person without any of his efforts, then he will become habitual of doing nothing and aging the benefit without hard work, but if we teach him how to catch a fish, and use it as his food, then he will be more benefitted and will never try to beg in front of anyone. We can justify this statement by the following story. There was a school in a village, where children of mostly poor communities were getting their education. No uniform code was there in this school and students used to come in any of their available dresses. Education standards were reasonable but the teachers of this school were very much committed to their job in grooming their students, especially with respect to general ethics. The poor people were earning their livings hardly but were committed to educating the next generation for a better future. One ...
