Why Everyone Cannot be Jack of All Trades

Once upon a time, there was a family of poor weavers. They were living in a village and had a very simple life style. They had combined family system, where elders were respected very well.

Why Everyone Cannot be Jack of All Trades

House of the family was of old pattern where pitches were fixed in the walls of rooms. Said pitchers were used for storage of wheat in these. This family had also goats in its house. One day, one goat, which had horns, tried to eat wheat from the pitcher and entered its head in the pitcher. In this effort, goat's head was struck in the pitcher and she was unable to get it out.

Now the poor family was very much worried as they were unable to get any solution. This family had an old man who was bed ridden, but deemed to be very wise within the family.

So everyone agreed to get advice from that old man to get the solution. The whole family gathered around the old man's bed and put their problem in front of him. The old man heard the situation and remained very calm to dig out the solution.

Now the old man started his advice and told the family to fall down the room in the wall of which, the pitcher was, in which goat was struck. The family executed as per instruction, now the goat was with the pitcher, and moving around, but still not free of that pitcher. The family again went to the old and again told about the situation. The old man smiled and told the family to cut the head of goat. Same was done by poor family. Now goat had died, even then its head was in the pitcher. Again old man was consulted, now he gave a solution to break the pitcher. By doing this head of goat got free of pitcher.

Everything was destroyed by following old man's advice, room had fell down, goat was slaughterd and the pitcher was broken.

Now the old man started weeping in front of family. On inquiring, he told, I am weeping because I am worried about, who will give you such useful advices after my death.

Why to Trust Teamwork and Delegation of Authority

There was a family of ghosts living in a place; they had made their homes. This was agricultural land belonging to a farmer. The farmer always used to plough it to grow new crops. This action of the farmer always disturbed the ghost’s family as their houses used to destroy and they had to build their houses again. They had to do this practice every farming season and they became fed up with this routine. They had their chief ghost, to whom they always put their request to have some solution, but the chief ghost always delayed his action and never resolved the issue, which resulted in frustration amongst the ghost family. One day when the chief ghost had gone anywhere, the ghost family decided to meet the farmer to have an agreement with him. They went to the farmer’s house in the shape of a delegation and met him to resolve the issue. One the ghost said to the farmer’ “We live in the land where you grow your crops in every season. We have our houses, occupies with our wives and kids...

Why Hard work is Always Better than Begging

Hard work is the key to success. nothing in this world is impossible for a person who targets to achieve with commitment and hard work. If we give a fried fish to a person without any of his efforts, then he will become habitual of doing nothing and aging the benefit without hard work, but if we teach him how to catch a fish, and use it as his food, then he will be more benefitted and will never try to beg in front of anyone. We can justify this statement by the following story. There was a school in a village, where children of mostly poor communities were getting their education. No uniform code was there in this school and students used to come in any of their available dresses. Education standards were reasonable but the teachers of this school were very much committed to their job in grooming their students, especially with respect to general ethics. The poor people were earning their livings hardly but were committed to educating the next generation for a better future. One ...
