Why Miniature Things are Very Important in Our Life

Once upon a time, there was a king who had three daughters. He loved them very much and was afraid of losing them. He always got saddened by the thought that these three would leave him one by one after their marriage.

One day he called his three daughters and asked them, “How much they loved him”. First of all, he asked the eldest one and asked her, "How much do you love me". She replied that she loves her father, the most in the world. He then asked the same question to his second daughter, and she also replied in the same words. After that he turned to his youngest daughter and asked her the same, she replied, “I love you even more than the salt.” Hearing this, the king was annoyed and thought that he has worth equal to that of salt in her third daughter’s eyes. This daughter does not love him and she should be thrown out of the palace. So the king decided to arrange her marriage with an ordinary person. King’s daughter was confused about this and tried her best to prove her love for her father but the king was not convinced. So the youngest daughter was forced to marry an unknown poor person. After their marriage, the couple settled in a forest, far away from the king’s palace.

After a few months, the king went to the forest for his hobby of hunting, with a convoy of his subordinates. He saw a deer and started chasing it, but couldn’t hunt that. As a result of this effort, he went far away from his convoy and was alone in the forest. Now he was tired of this activity and wanted some shelter to take a rest. At the same time, he was too much thirsty and hungry. He saw a hut in the forest and was relieved to see that hut. He went inside the hut where a poor man was sleeping. When he saw the king, he welcomed the king and gave him respect.  Actually, this was the hut, where the youngest daughter of the king was living but the king was unaware of this fact. King’s daughter didn’t appear in front of her father and prepared a meal for her father.  When the meal, with a variety of dishes, was served in front of the king, it appeared to be very delicious. As the king was too much hungry he started the food, but couldn’t eat it. The king tasted all the dishes that were served in front of him, but all were tasteless. He asked the gentleman, “Why there is no taste in the food”.

At this time king’s daughter appeared and met her father. She told the king that all the dishes were properly cooked but only the salt is missing. Then the king remembered his daughter’s words that she loved the king even more than the salt. Now the king realized the importance of salt and the reality of his youngest daughter’s words. The king was ashamed that he didn’t understand the love of his daughter which is the love in true sense. He comprehended the purity of his daughter’s love.

Why Hard work is Always Better than Begging

Hard work is the key to success. nothing in this world is impossible for a person who targets to achieve with commitment and hard work. If we give a fried fish to a person without any of his efforts, then he will become habitual of doing nothing and aging the benefit without hard work, but if we teach him how to catch a fish, and use it as his food, then he will be more benefitted and will never try to beg in front of anyone. We can justify this statement by the following story. There was a school in a village, where children of mostly poor communities were getting their education. No uniform code was there in this school and students used to come in any of their available dresses. Education standards were reasonable but the teachers of this school were very much committed to their job in grooming their students, especially with respect to general ethics. The poor people were earning their livings hardly but were committed to educating the next generation for a better future. One ...

Why Human is Ignorant of Basic Ethics

Humans are living creatures that are not only made of flesh and blood but have some feelings and thoughts, and are to follow certain rules and ethics. But they are running behind wealth, and fame and exhibit a materialistic approach, violating the basics, for which they are in this world. Loyalty is one of these basic values which humans are to adopt. If humans look at the loyalty and sincerity of an animal, like a dog, they will get ashamed of themselves. Such an example is given in the following paragraphs. Once upon there was a family of Bedouin, who were having a herd of sheep. This family used to travel far away in search of food for their sheep, keeping in view the weather changes. During winter this family always preferred to move to the plain and in summer towards the hilly areas. This family had a dog of a good breed which always moved with the herd of sheep for security purposes. This dog had a special affiliation with the Bedouin family and the sheep. It was winter season ...

Why Hard Work along with Genius is Key to Success

It is said that “Hard work without genius is more than genius without hard work”. Only genius will be useless if there is no hard work as hard work is always key to success in any task.  But if genius combines with hard work, then it will be matchless. There will be nothing to beat that person. We can take a well-known story for this There was a crow who was very thirsty, he couldn’t find water anywhere. He wandered around in search of water, but he could not find it. He was tired and sat on the wall of a house. He saw a pitcher placed in the house. The crow flew and sat at the edge of the pitcher.  He was very happy as there was water in the pitcher, but unfortunately, the water level was very low and the crow was unable to reach it to drink it. The crow tried its level best but all in vain. At last, the crow used its intelligence and got a solution to raise the water level for its easy access to drink. The crow saw some pebbles near that pitcher and started picking the...
